Station8
Station8 is the headquarters for our community programs and services. This beautifully restored Victorian house provides space for small group events, office and meeting space, event and program rooms, plus affordable short and longer term accommodations.
Trails and Events
For the past few years, our great team of volunteers have been mapping and clearing nearly a dozen walking trails throughout the Greater Dorchester region (see our Trails page). We also organize hikes, foraging walks, and lots of fun events to bring people together to enjoy the outdoors. Be sure to join us for our Annual Polar Dip and Paddle on the Pond or one of the dozens of events we host every year. We have something for everyone from preschool to seniors and everyone in between!

Upcoming Events
Community Food Hub
Our dream of adding a Community Food Hub to Station8 was realized in 2023-2024 with the help of a lot of people and funding support from charities like the Brewer Foundation and the Sackville Rotary Club as well as both the provincial and federal government. This hub now brings together our food security programs under one roof and includes a Class IV Commercial Kitchen, the Station8 Community Fridge, Neigbor Cafes, Teaching Kitchens, Community Meals, and a ton of other programs aimed at ensure everyone in our community has enough fresh healthy food and is engaged in building food security and food sovereignty for our region.
