Executive Director

Jonelle has recently joined our team September 2024 and we are so excited to welcome her as our first official Executive Director! Jonelle and her family have returned to Tantramar after living in BC and Ontario for the past few years. She’s worked in the nonprofit sector for many years as a General Manager, Director, and Chief Operating Officer and shares Moving Forward’s values of equity, equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Originally from Calgary, Brooke started working with Moving Forward in May 2022 as our Food Security Intern and we were thrilled that, by the time she graduated from Mount Allison in May 2023, she had fallen in love with the Greater Dorchester community and accepted the position as our first full time Operations Manager! Brooke majored in International Relations and Sociology, with a minor in Community-Engaged Learning. She brings a ton of skills and passion to the Co-operative and has become an important and well-loved member of the community. We feel so lucky to have her on board!

Sajin Saji (he/him)

Food Security Intern

Sajin Saji is a third-year Geography student from Mount Allison University. Born and raised in Kerala, India, he’s now braving the Atlantic winds here in New Brunswick and is super excited to join the amazing team at Moving Forward! When he’s not buried in maps or dreaming of warm beaches, you’ll find him exploring every corner of this community. He’s looking forward to learning, laughing, and making a difference in the community!
